The Energy Club: a night with BB & Club Owners Interview

When BB calls me and says: "You and me and me and you?", I know always what she means. She talks about a night without hubbies and kids in our preferred disco club: the Energy Club.

I found Energy Club because I'm always in search of new place, new events or new gifts for our followers and in front of the entrance of the club there is a room full of from big SL brands. Designers like Sakide, Legal Insanity, Blacklace, beleza and much more.

I met with the owners to interview them. I found myself in front of four tidy avatars from four different places in the world.

Mag: This is a very nice club, furnished in a very stylish mode with a selection of great djs with many styles from hardstyle to house and techno. How did the idea of this Club?
 CLUB Owners: Energy Club was born 2 years and 8 months ago, the idea was from one of the actual owners aswell, Thlemaxos Rewell, the basic purpose was to bring to Second Life the concept of a real life music club, with events, great djs and customers focused staff, a place where people are able to feel at home even the first time they come and enjoy a party.
Mag: What is your goal? 
CLUB Owners: We probably already answered to this question in the previous one, but our goal is always the happiness of our customers, the main goal is to give to the people that comes to our club a friendly and comfortable place where they can hear the most different music styles, always with great djs, and meet new people like they would do in a real life club.   
Mag: In Second Life there are many clubs, what you think about to have different than them? 
CLUB Owners: We are just us, we never compare Energy Club to other clubs in Second Life, this cos we feel our club like our kiddo, and as parent you always think your kiddo is the best! What we can say is that we put love in everything that regards Energy Club, and probably the real difference is totally made by our staff, a great team of the best entertainment professionists of Second Life that makes us so great :-)
Mag: What are the requirements to become Energy DJ?
CLUB Owners: Our DJs are hired after one or more castings, our DJ Managers team work really hard to assure the club always the TOP of quality among the DJs spinning in Energy Club, what we require is quality, ability to work in a team and passion in what they do, because Energy Club, like the name says itself, requires energies and passion that are transmitted from our DJs to our customers to always be able to make the difference :-)
Mag: Your staff is formed by four persons, you always agree about the organization of the club and events? 
CLUB Owners: Wow, the staff isnt formed by 4 persons, we have 200 people in our staff and 40 people in our high management staff, these people are the ones that make the real difference and built up Energy Club as a unique music and entertainment experience. We, again, want to take the chance here to thank all our DJs and all our Hosts and Managers and Directors and finally Head Managers to give us owners the chance to be proud of our Club and to know that what we built up with their help is a great place where people can have the same fun they would have in a real life club .. and maybe MORE!

Alpha Gym

Sometimes, at the end of our day of work, we go at the Alpha Gym Center, it's a very nice place, it's furnished with a very good taste and there you can find everything you need for your virtual training and also a fantastic area for sauna.

Bogart's Jazz Club (Dew Design)

Yesterday I was invited to a Gala Party at Bogart's Jazz Club, one of the best ballroom in elegance and style. For this important event i chose a masterpiece of Dew Design: the French connection black dress.

Interview with Molly Kestrel owner of the Paradise Beach Restaurant

"Dear follower, today we are at the Paradise Beach Restaurant (already posted here) to interview the owner"

Mag: Hi Molly, how is born the idea of a "real" restaurant, with menu, waiters and bill to pay, here in SL?

Molly: "I originally began working in the SL restaurant business back in 2009, managing and even co-owning other restaurants. I loved meeting new people and proving them with an enjoyable virtual dining experience here in Second Life. 
One of my good friends, Steven Cerise, frequented the restaurants; and after they all went out of business, not only was I disappointed, but so was he! And being the amazing friend he is, back in September he actually offered to help me start up my own restaurant business, paying for just about everything. Haha! Talk about a fantastic gift, right? 
Given my love for SL restaurants and how much I missed running one, naturally I couldn't refuse! And without Steven, Paradise Beach Restaurant wouldn't exist today."


Mag: Your staff is very prepared, helpful and diligent, when one person come in your restaurant receive immediately a "welcome" from they. How you educate your staff and witch are the characteristics required to be a member of it? 

Molly: "My employees begin training the moment that they're hired. I provide them with notecards of instructions, as well as supplies (menus, silverware, drinks, etc.). Once they've become familiar with the prices, as well as the step-by-step serving instructions, I put them through a test run in which they serve me. After that, if I feel that they're prepared enough, as well as polite and well spoken, they're welcome to begin work right away!"


Mag: Are you satisfied of you activity?

Molly: "I'm beyond satisfied with the way everything is going for myself and Paradise Beach Restaurant, so far! Great staff, loyal customers...and I'm doing something I love in SL again! I only hope to make PBR even more of a wonderful place to visit in the near future."

Mag: Have you any events in program for this period?

Molly: "As of right now, there are no upcoming events set in stone; however, we are thinking about having a beach party soon! Our group members will be the first to know! :-)"

Lost Town

Lost Town is a land all to discover, is full of  underground passages very romantic in its decay.
A great quality of this land is the good taste, also in the chaotic and decaying parts of it, all is assembled with taste and attention to details.

These days has a wonderful work of art: La Porte de l'Enfer, a replique of the mastepiece by Auguste RODIN.

The Door of the Hell is a monumental group of sculpture of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin who established(constituted) throughout its life its most important work where from were extracted during more than 30 years its most famous individual sculptures of which the famous Thinker.

In 1880, Rodin receives an official command(order) of the government: a front door for the museum of the decorative arts which must be built in Paris. This one, baptized The Door of the Hell must be decorated with bas-reliefs being inspired of Divine Dante's Comedy. The known version today will remain unfinished, the tests(events) having been melted after the death of the artist. One of these versions appears to the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the other one in the university Stanford in California, and the third in Tokyo. Several doors exist among which one to the museum Rodin in Paris as well as one in Kunstmuseum of Zurich.
